Michelle Motley

Hello! My name is Michelle Motley and I am currently the Instructional Facilitator for Bethlehem Elementary School. After graduating from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 1992 with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, I began my teaching career at Taylorsville Elementary School teaching first and second grades. I then transferred to a Kindergarten teaching position at Bethlehem Elementary School and remained in that same position for eighteen years. I became Nationally Board Certified in 2000 and then renewed that certification in 2010. Also in 2010, I obtained a Masters Degree as a K-12 Curriculum Specialist from Appalachian State University and in 2012, gained an Administration Add-On Certificate from Appalachian State. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family which includes my husband, Shane, and children, Alex and Madalyn.
